I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Swedish singer-songwriter Malin Andersson on the music video for her latest single, 'How It's Supposed to Feel', which is part of her second album 'Space to Feel'. This project marks our third collaboration, and each time, I've found new creative threads to explore visually.

For this video, Malin and I wanted to capture the essence of her song, which explores the aftermath of an abruptly ended relationship. Rather than focusing on heartbreak, we aimed to convey the feeling of moving on and becoming stronger as a result. The playful undertones of the track served as inspiration for the vibrant and uplifting visual aesthetic we created.

To achieve this, we constructed three unique sets within a single location, each with its own lighting setup to evoke different emotions. We experimented with colour and monochrome transitions, as well as a variety of aspect ratios, such as 4:3 and a rounded film frame.
